Digital Law, being a consequence of technological advancement, becomes an evolution of the Law itself, since it brings together all the areas already existing in the legal context. In addition, with its scope of action, it ends up incorporating new knowledge and consequently new rules to the legal universe.

Technological growth has brought positive consequences, facilitating corporate and private life, but also negative consequences, as this advance has enhanced the occurrence of crimes on the Internet, such as obtaining confidential information, copyright violation among other crimes. Thus, it is necessary to use the Law as an effective instrument to contain the growth of virtual crime and suppress its abuses.
